Hi, I’m Sergey, a Research Scientist at Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab, which is basically a main research center for Huawei. Prior to that, I was a Research Assistant at Yandex Research. For a formal listing of experiences and achievements you can visit my linkedin page.
Some topics I’m interested in:
-
Generative Modeling with applications in Unsupervised Learning (e.g. using StyleGAN for discovery of interpretable directions or feature extraction)
-
Time-consistency in video-based generative models (e.g. in the context of super-resolution)
-
Computer Vision in 3D, which include problems like novel-view synthesis (including a one-shot regime) and dense correspondense mapping
-
Theoretical Deep Learning (understanding benefits of Self-Supervised learning, derivation of novel Generalization measures)
-
Backpropagation-free DL training (methods such as Greedy InfoMax or Equilibrium Propagation)
I also enjoy digging through a lot of papers and getting the overall picture of current research.
